Description
An Australian native bird, this adult male southern cassowary, also father/carer of a half grown chick at the time, is a large wild flightless bird living in the tropical rainforest and around the beach area of Etty Bay, near Innisfail, located in the Cassowary Coast region, known as the wet tropics along the eastern coast of tropical Far North Queensland, Australia.
