The abstract work theme was inspired by fallen leaves upon the ground surface below, the multiple layers of build up over time, the newly fallen continually overlaying the old, haphazardly, in total a gathering of a unison collective.
The work was composed first through the irregular movement and direction of a repetitive fallen leaf motif shape, then working a dynamic through the play of light and shadows with a path of border lines explored through warm and cool colour rhythms and tone variations.
